Beaded  Decor

These gorgeous beaded stakes are hand crafted by me here in Colorado. They are made from top-quality materials to resist rusting, scratching, and fading in the elements. No plastic, acrylic, or resin!

These stakes can be displayed in dozens of ways:

  • Place them in an indoor or outdoor planter, flower pot or garden
  • Put them in the ground near a patio or around your yard or garden
  • Add them to a flower arrangement in a vase
  • Put them in a jar that’s filled with decorative sand or rocks
  • Add them to a pencil jar for desk decoration (small version probably best)
  • Use them as wands for costumes (fairies, wizards, witches, and warlocks!)

Great for nature enthusiasts, gardeners, bird lovers, cancer supporters, new homeowners, sending care packages, people who like shiny things, Santa (stocking stuffers!), and the Tooth Fairy (these are sometimes called “fairy wands”).

Bird & the Bees Collection

I ADORE all creatures great and small, and at the top of my list is birds, which is why I have a collection specifically dedicated to them. Including the peacock, goldfinch, black-chinned hummingbird, northern cardinal, meadowlark, bald eagle, and more.

Landscapes & Weather Collection

This collection is inspired by cloud-dappled sunny skies, deep green forest, raging mountain rivers, endless beaches, and even our galaxy and solar system.

Cancer Support Collection

One of my collections isn’t nature-based. The cancer-care stakes were inspired by experiencing several close family members diagnosed in recent years. Cancer is so damn hard for so many reasons, and I hope that patients and survivors who receive these know the amount of empathy and hope that I’ve put into creating each one.

Holiday Collection

This collection is still nature-inspired but with a holiday style for Halloween and Christmas.

Optional Wood Base

The wooden bases are made from retired railway boxcar flooring. The hard maple flooring was salvaged from train cars in the southwest U.S .and has probably traveled millions of miles across the country over decades. Each one is unique.

Sizes & Specs

These collections are crafted from high-quality materials so they can better endure the elements and resist rusting, scratching, and fading. I take extra time and expense to purchase stainless steel (not zinc) rods, bail beads, and jump rings. And I choose glass, gemstone, ceramic, and porcelain beads and knobs (not acrylic, resin, or plastic). Most of the charms I use are also stainless steel or brass, but because I also use vintage materials, the charms may sometimes contain other metals.

  • LARGE: The entire stake (rod plus topper) measures about 15 inches. There is about 8-9 inches of beads and knob, and 6-7 inches of just rod. There are 20-22 beads, two charms, and one knob/topper.
  • MEDIUM: The entire stake (rod plus topper) measures about 9 inches. There is about 5.5 inches of beads and knob, and 3.5 inches of just rod. There are 12-14 beads, one charm, and one knob/topper.
  • MINI: The entire stake (rod plus top nut) measures about 3.75 inches. There is about 2.25 inches of beads and knob, and 1.5 inches of just rod. There are 5-7 beads, no charms, and a small rounded metal nut at the top.
  • VERSION WITH WOOD BASE: The beaded portion measures about 8 inches. There are about 18-20 beads, two charms, and one knob/topper. The stands are a cube and measure 2 1/4 inches on each side. Total height is about 10 inches.

I personally cut the stainless rods to the size I need, study images of the animal/plant/landscape I’m re-creating, and hand-select and place each bead and charm. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I love creating them!

Handmade 1-of-1. Truly unique.
